Shawna Yang Ryan is the author of three novels, most recently ANATOMY. Her work has received a number of awards, including the American Book Award. She is former director of the Creative Writing Program at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, where she spent a decade as a professor. She currently works as a manuscript coach in Northern California.
