From the Contributor Commentary

Ever since I was a little girl, I liked to draw. The place I grew up in was full of art supplies, drawings, and things that created an amazing environment.

Last year I had the opportunity to participate in the Dibuja Guatemala project for the Guatemalan Cultural Center of Spain. All the artists worked on a traveling sketchbook, drawing and capturing the Guatemalan streetlife. The sketchbooks then traveled to Spain and were exhibited in a gallery.
