2019–2020 Kickstarter.com Campaign
On January 24, 2020, we successfully concluded a fundraising campaign on Kickstarter.com. Many thanks to our kind and generous backers, who enabled us to raise 160% of our goal of $1,000. As modest a sum as this is, it is critical to the publication of our book, and the efforts of many people accounted for the campaign’s success.
2019 AWP Conference & Bookfair
Find us at this year’s bookfair at exhibit booth 6006. We’ll have copies of the first and second editions of Ms. Aligned as well as our call for submissions. Ms. Aligned 2 contributor Lillian Howan will be signing copies of her fabulous novel, The Charm Buyers, on Thursday and Friday from 11:30 to 12:30. A novel of love and magic, The Charm Buyers recounts the intertwined lives of two descendants of Chinese pearl-cultivating families in Tahiti. Ms. Aligned editor Pat Matsueda will be signing copies of her poetry collection Stray and her novella, Bedeviled, on Thursday and Friday at 10 a.m. Bedeviled is about a blue-collar worker in Hawaii who walks the tightrope between a dreary home life and a risky online existence. Howan, Matsueda, and fellow Ms. Aligned contributor Cassandra Lane will also be participating on conference panels.
